Earthquake notes
I learnt
that Tornadoes can get up to 170 mph and that if tornadoes occur you should go
under low ground.
One thing
that I learnt off my PowerPoint was that the Japan earthquake got up to about
8.9. I always thought you could fell any type of earthquakes but soon learnt
you can’t.
Tsunamis can
wipe out a whole city just like the Japan one did.
Did you know
that an avalanche can reach up to a speed of 30-70 miles per hour and was also
used as a weapon in World War 1?
When tectonic plates need to move they cause
an earthquake like Christchurch has had in recent years.
Most
Tsunamis kill 300 plus people as the one did over in Japan.
First off I
never knew what a typhoon was but now know it’s a huge storm that can wipe put
a whole city.
I also learnt that a hurricane is made out of
water and wind
